Here's a potentially dumb question... Why is this listed as a BBb mute?

The seller mentions he no longer plays a BBb horn, but wouldn't this mute work just as well in any key tuba assuming it fits correctly?

Unfortunately, I'm not interested in actually buying the mute, just wonerring what a BBb mute was.
