best match?

Bored, spent a couple minutes looking at what Sort by "best match" ordering does. As opposed to "Time: ending soonest", used to be the default.

On the first page, best match does present some tubas and baritones, which makes sense so far since I'm in "baritone & tuba." They're in "ends soon" order for the most part, too, so someone who isn't paying attention could easily fail to notice that they switched to a different order a ways back.

What's on the first page but not ending soon? rebuild kits, a Chinese baritone, an old King, a "TUBA PLAYER" "street sign", a lapel pin, an ornament. In no way do these items appear to be any better match than the others. Do sellers get the opportunity to buy "best match" priority? On page 5 I find the unlucky seller of a Holton baritone, 5 hours to go. What did he do wrong?

Also 5 hours to go on a battered 24J that's up past $1000 already. If the crushed main bows wouldn't be a worry, I'd think the flattened leadpipe would, but seller says "PLAYS GREAT", so I guess nothing stops those old Conns.
