I owned a nice horn with a bell looking somewhat like this (maybe not as straight as this one, but less flare then your normal tuba). I sold it to Klaus. As I remember, the horn had a very nice sound. Very crisp (well defined), and not woofy like some of the bigger american horns. If I had had the space and the need for the horn, I would have kept it. I am sure that Klaus can elaborate on the sound that tuba makes.I've always wanted a chance to play a horn with one of these old bells... Why don't they make them anymore?!
