is this for real

Post by brasshospital »

hey has anyone had dealings with this seller before. seems to good to be true. so i would guess it must be. they have a few tubas for sale and they are all listed this way "buy it now no bidding". seems to be very good with the audio stuff they have sold.

I've reported both of those listing as they are obvious scams.

This exact ad has been up several times for several items. Every horn is a high-end instrument, every auction starts at $88 with a no-bids allowed policy and the $1700 Buy-It-Now. They get pulled every time I've seen them. You figure they'd be smart enough to change the description style once in a while.

Actually, I'm really glad tubas are expensive. Otherwise, we'd all have 5 or 6 tubas, and take them everywhere like trumpet players do.

Symphonies expect you to have them as needed, which isn't impossible. Lugging around that quad case, though, IS!
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

Right, and I've got no beef with professionals or high-level players having the right equipment. Just talking about amateurs or (worse yet) HS students with GAS playing the horn/mouthpiece game instead of practicing.

Hmmm.... Sure would be nice to have a sticky warning about these scams... :P
Those ads are incredibly easy to spot. All you have to do is report it to eBay... as I did. See.... it's already been pulled.
