Good horns. Note that Conn no longer builds this model and only has limited parts availability. What Conn/Selmer/Steinway/Whatever calls a 15J these days is actually a King 1240. Ordering parts for a 15J will get you the wrong parts. If you buy this horn and need parts.... I think I have two parts horns. And no... the pistons won't interchange with the 4J or 5J.

This particular version of the 15J is/was a convertible horn. Swapping the leadpipe for a marching pipe and reversing the 1st and 3rd slides put it into marching configuration.
