This is my Eb in case anyone was wondering whose it was.
Purchased here from tubenet about 4 years ago. Took me a bit to conquer it, mainly because I was using the wrong style mouthpieces. Once I popped in a Conn Helleberg 7B it totally opened up and plays.
I played it for the first time in a few months (been doing all CC work recently) and here's a quick link to some tootin on it.

Tried to show low register some, played to the bottom EEb. Tried to show the usable range mostly Bb - Eb. The highest arpeggio you hear is to Ab. (yeah, I fumbled it some...).
It's best range is BBb to Eb above the staff. Pretty good through there. It's not a F tuba, but it is a fine sounding horn. You need a couple of alternate fingers but the secret was the mouthpiece. Played like crap using a PT style, even worse with my Alan Baer, but the Helleberg style makes it sing.
My daughter is playing a couple of years now and papa is proud she's first chair in the band and All-District so I'm financing her a BBb. She want's dad's Hirsbruner, but I told her dream on...but I'll get her a good BBb.
Any questions, let me know.
