That ad was in a Life (or maybe Look?) magazine the week I was born. In the National Geographic for that month: a feature on the University of Florida with a full page picture of the band's Sousaphone Section. There was also a picture of a man playing tuba in another nationwide magazine in the same week.
In the cards, I guess...
