Sometimes the buyers just ask for it:

There have been complaints about Chinese made instruments. I tend to think that some of the Indian made ones are worse.

The sellers try to give the instruments some credibility by calling them used or Dachbodenfund (found in a attic).

This one is in tenor Bb and hence useless as a bass. If the price is right I would want one for the fun of it, so I set my bidding agent to 2Euro. After a nap I got an alert mail and watched the last seconds of the auction: it was won for 481Euros.

That buyer must be kind of silly, hopefully so silly he never understands what happened.

That thing is just painful to look at. I've seen one in person once, in a window display here in New York.

I shook my head and thought "what a waste of metal."

Hmmm.... 24 bids, huh? I thought 'shill' bidding was against eBay policy.

I kind of want one... but not that bad. It would be a very fun parade horn with my tuba - euphonium quartet!
