Magical Kalison tuba

Post by Uncle Buck »

Ebay requires a credit card verification for any bid over $15,000. So, fake bidding to drive up the price on this one probably is not a good idea.

$15,000?

What good is that? You can't even buy a stale cheese sandwich for $15,000:

I wish this was a joke. What has this world come to?
It was briefly above $3Million.

It is a shame the folks who try to prosper from religion. $.25 worth of materials is not worth any exhorbatant amount of money, no matter how it is transformed. If they were truly religious, they would donate it to the curch of their choosing.

I thought the sammich looked more like Little Orphan Annie, myself. But, hey, it's a good luck charm because the seller said that she won $70,000 from a local casino. Wonder how much she's lost over the years.?

Search on eBay for "Mary Sandwich" or "Cheese Mary" or "Virgin Sandwich" and you'll see that eBayers have been having lots of fun with this one...

What was his email address? I've been trying to snare him into a reply, but so far, no soap.

Especially considering the tuba population of sanibel, fl is probably just below zero.

It is so easy to get a pic loaded onto some sort of media device today that it blows my mind that eBay doesn't require it on every auction. While it doesn't prevent fraud outright, it at least give some of us the chance to say, "I think I've seen that tuba somewhere before..."
