The three valve King 1240 that Wichita Music is offering is in much better shape and you get a choice of straight or recording bell or both. But it is a little more expensive, like twice as much.
Beginning again to be a tuba player.
1291 King Double B flat with detachable bell.

^ Someone still got a really good price for that 4 valve King though.

I would have to categorize that as a 'fair' price rather than a 'really good' price. That horn needs to come apart to fix those massive dents in the open bugle. It's hard telling what might be wrong that you CAN'T see. The repairs to that horn are what I consider to be beyond the 'home' technician.
