Two days to go and the bid is only at $810 I do not know that much about European tubas, but from the chatter on this BBS, I am under the impression that Kalison tubas are good tubas from a reputable manufacturer.

What?? What do you mean it's a 4/4, and not that 5/4 you see more often? The DS model is the most common Kalison tuba out. Also, this "4/4" isn't a "problem". These horns are actually 5/4 tubas, while yours is a smaller 6/4. I just don't get how you said it's a problem when you've NEVER TRIED ONE BEFORE.

At $2700 it still looks like someone got a pretty good deal, though past the point where I'd start thinking about taking up C tuba. I hope none of the other bidders were serious about it, and just didn't understand ebay well enough to put their money down.
