Sousafoons are used by short Sousaphone players.

Saving on production costs must have been on the agenda.
No body knee.
Solving the problem of the full circle Eb sousaphone tuning slide problem by means of a tuning leadpipe. Which allows for tuning, and also allows for adjustments for a good playing position. But not necessarily both at the same time.

The Dutch are careful about listening to the sound of a word and spelling it the way it sounds, given their pronunciation standards. "Sousa" is a name, so presumably that's why it is left alone. But "foon" is exactly how you'd spell in Dutch the sound an English speaker makes when we read "phone."

I believe Bloke was making a joke. At least I laughed.
Its a shame, I only live about 5 min. drive from the person selling this horn, but since I'm absolutely NOT interested in owning this horn I just can't get myself to take a look. I feel like I'd only be doing just to add sauce to this reality-on-going-joke.
