I think I've seen that one or one much like it. A few months ago, someone had about 4 Cervenys that were complete but for valve sections.imperialbari wrote:http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... 0741749759

I was thinking about hooking it up to the air horn under the hood of a Mack truck-- Not sure if it would sound in concert pitch though--

Re: Starting point for do-it-yourself tuba makers
This body is a good start and would be a lot of fun to build into something usable, it would be useful for somebody that has rotors or pistons to throw into it, if I wasn't in school I would snag it. I have valves I could probably use for this but I built a horn last year and I can't justify another one

Yeah... this one has been running for a looonnnng time! There has always been some question about exactly what it is. Even though the seller is calling it an 'F'... the bugle looks far to long for that. I suspect that these bodies were some sort of 'mistake'.clunkertruck wrote:Looks like they have it listed over here too-- This has been up for MONTHS !!

Re: Starting point for do-it-yourself tuba makers
This is still for sale....
I have an silver Eeb tuba with a detachable 5-valve section and leadpipe. Would it be possible to make this fit to my valve section? (so I can change bells...)
And if that is possible will have it any sense/use?
