Nope. Many more "ph" Mirafones and many more one piece bell models but this is not a rare horn.

Naw...

Rare is the wrong word. There are LESS recording bell Mirafones than fixed bell horns around, but they aren't that rare. Just my opinion...

I've changed several recording bells out for fixed upright bells or built detachable upright bells for those horns. Wanna by a couple of recording bells? What's always puzzled me about those horns is that the upright bells were 16 1/2 - 17" or so and the recording bells are 20". I guess the small upright bell just looked too 'dinky' as a recording bell.

King baritones also had almost flareless recording bells 50 years ago. I remember finding them very similar to the vents on old ships.
