1) I don't even own 4 mouthpieces I'd want to routinely switch between.
2) Wow that'd be heavy.
3) A big reason for even carrying 2 to a normal rehearsal (for me) is as a backup (in case something bad happens and one is lost). If I learn something in rehearsal that makes me want to try something else, I'll do that at home before the next rehearsal.

I have two of those. I used to use them frequently but do not anymore. The best use for me was for carting mouthpieces around to show them off to your tuba nerd friends. I occasionally used one to carry two mouthpieces to rehearsal.

I also have two of the Giddings and Webster mouthpiece pouches. These days, I usually use one of the G&W pouches to carry one mouthpiece.

It has belt loops?

I have one similar, but I don't take it to gigs. I'd rather keep my MPs in it than leave them sitting out where the cats at home can play with them. It also just holds my CC, F, sousaphone and bass bone MPs.

Ok, I will admit I own one of these and regularly carry 2-4 mouthpieces with me (owning 4 mouthpieces). I have the main mouthpiece that I use and then occasionally use my Monette for a sightly different blend. I have one that I typically leave at the school to use in one of the school owned tubas to warm-up/practice or occasionally play tuba parts with my little band and then the 4th mp doesn't get used any more so it should probably be up for sale rather than collecting dust.

I do also admit to owning a couple of these for my euph and bone mouthpieces. 1 is purely for storage of extras I've collected over the years that should be sold. 1 I do carry 4 in with my bass trombone and do regularly use all 4 depending on the situation. My go to is my Schilke 59 using this for the bulk of my playing. The LOUD is huge and only gets used on those occasional pieces that spend the entire time in the bottom register. I carry a slightly smaller (but not much) DW for 2nd/3rd parts that tend to hang a little higher and then I have a plastic Kelly that only gets pulled out on rare occasions outside in the cold.

I have two of these full of 8 mouthpieces. I have never taken them out of the house. They keep the tarnish off ank keep the from getting banged/scratched up in my drawer. Yes I do...and have no shame in it.

Since I routinely play on a Kelly (comfort, metal allergies) even eight of them don't make an impression in terms of weight.

I admit, I use the same one 99.98% of the time BUT

I have an extra example of the same one just in case something bad happens to it on a gig or some viola decides to Harri-kari with it (not bad, but still... )

The other ones are for extremes (ranges, conductors, locations, situations that I don't know about in advance, so I can't prepare another horn).

It's worked for me, and on rare, rare, rare occasions I've even used them!

Yup I've got one of these cases. I used to take four mouthpieces with me everywhere, but now it is three because my pt 70 now lives with my F tuba.
