Postby Dylan King » Wed Dec 08, 2004 12:13 am

Hello tuba friends.

I have put my 1931 York .750 bore sousaphone up for grabs on ebay. The horn is in excellent condition and was overhauled by Robb Stewart. It has some unique custom elements as well.

Bidding starts at $1500.00 with no reserve. There are detailed pictures and more info on ebay.

Forgive me for asking, but why are you calling it a "tuba-trombone trumpet bass"?

I put that in the title for all of the possible doublers out there. It will appear in those instrument's searches as well. Ebay wisdom given to me by my cousin, who makes his living selling on ebay.

As far as eBay administration is concerned, that's called "spamming" their search engine. It is effective, and they rarely do anything administratively about it unless some anal-retentive person with nothing else to do notifies them with a complaint...

...just kidding - Even if I was that "anal", it's time for a quick half-hour nap before my next gig...two down / two to go before the day's over)...' up late last night hosting four young men from an out-of-town rugby team...Their team tied my son's...MAN!!...rugby is TOUGH...OUCH!!!

Good luck with the auction! I see that you already have one great bid.

No complaints so far. Two hours and it's gone.
