Bohland&Fuchs = Amati? Eb

Found this Eb 3RV http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... ESINDXX:ITon the bay. The listing says Amati, the engraving says Amati but the Bohland & Fuchs symbol is also there. Did they also go in under the Amati brand back at 1948 or what is the connection?
