Not a fluba. That's a flugelhorn that's been altered so it's in a tuba shape. It would be a 1/4 tuba, about half the size of the one in the photos.

I know its not a fluba (yet). Thats why i said perhaps or "could be fun". The tuba is small enough that it wouldnt be too much of a pain to hold that way.

Looks like it'd be fun as is -- small, probably light, good price. With some brass polish and elbow grease, you might be looking at a nice little horn for solos and such ... :D
