I'm not familiar with this manufacturer; is this a stencil? Anyone have insight as to why the bell would be built so tall/ wide?

Ferrules look like King, but the typical King bore size is .687". This doesn't mean that it ISN'T King.

BUT since the Fillmore company was in Cincinnati and H.N.White was in Cleveland it would be a good bet that it would be a King stencil.

If I HAD to guess, I would say that the name was probably acquired by H.N. White, or H.N. White was making a stencil for the Fillmore company. I might have more facts Monday after I can check the New Lanwill Index, unless somebody else has one and would be willing to look up Fillmore.

It's just like Harvey Phillips' horn but with some wacked-out bell.

The bell looks disproportionate compared to the body. IF the horn plays in tune with itself, it could be a good quintet alternative for someone who does not want to play an Eb or F.

Fillmore music was a company out of Cincinnati that operated from 1905-1950. Primarily a music publisher, they were also importers and dealers of musical instruments, but were not known for having made any of their own. One of the owners/founders of the company was Henry Fillmore of march fame. They mainly imported European instruments, although the front action is typically American. It does kindof look like a King 2341 in configuration, but the fact that it's in CC and has such a small bore are strange.
