I meant.....was this horn really worth close to that?
My '31 40K came from eBay about 18 months ago for $1,700...looked MUCH nicer, come with everything (including a twisted but functional neck), free shipping, and has a case...and well it is a 40K.
Love me some old King sousaphones....but this thing looks like a horn just this side of junk...but I guess it has potential. I am assuming from your response that you are in agreement with me
