Pitch ID, please

I assume this is a G baritone bugle, but I am not sure.

Not sure Klaus, but I think you're right. Looks like a 'G' bugle. I played a 'G' baritone bugle in an Air Force Drum (& bugle) corps in the '60s and it looked similar, but also had a rotor valve for 1/2 step. Similar to this:

One valve would have been from an earlier DCI regulation than two valves. From the proportions it looks like the valve lowers the instrument a fourth. But another matter puzzles me: the size of the finger hook! Maybe this instrument is a G soprano?

On asking the seller could not tell the pitch, but the overall length is 19", which makes me think it is a G mezzo-soprano bugle.

who never saw this type of instrument made by B&H before. Like with bell front euphoniums and BF tubas their British maker apparently had models only directed towards the North American market.
