Other than a tuba player owning a velvet couch!?
SN 11829 would be from 1980+, (not the "late '50's")
It does have 'S' links, but even if they fat fingered the '1'
1829 would be from 1961.

I emailed the seller when the auction first hit the web. They didn't seem too concerned.
