It of course depends on the nature of your interest - maybe old stuff from the Soviet Union appeals to you for historical reasons, who knows. I think there's a considerable possibility that their value as musical instruments wouldn't even support the cost of shipping. The seller certainly makes no great claims for them.

On casual examination, they all look like alto horns to me.

We have an Eb alto with just a little Cyrillic text crudely hand engraved on it, looks like the central word might be "Kiev". Nickel plated, sturdy, generously sized bell. The clock spring valves are worn but still work. It has a strong sound, people I know who have played it really like it - but they aren't exactly British brass band types. I think the tone quality and intonation would be ill suited to a `legit' situation.

Have to agree with this statement. I think that the ones that have vertical main slide possibly are alto horns (Eb) and with horizontal slide are tenor horns (Bb).

The horizontal-slide ones I saw had more tubing, but looked to me like they might add up to only 6 or 7 feet anyway, because they were so small (28 inches.)
