That's an interesting picture. I like the idea of more colors than silver or brass/gold for a tuba. bloke's 'Bloke-o-phone Mk II' is great looking and probably adds to the fun on the gigs he plays.

Did the builders use a very careful masking job? or some other way of applying the finish? Wonder how it would be touched up after a repair.

Not sure if it is going up in value but you never know...

It that a light blue lacquer or some sort of paint over the brass? It looks pretty opaque for a lacquer finish...

and How does He determine which Words will be Capitalized?

If you've ever tried to ship a house, you know how that goes. I'd insist on local pickup AND the wife must be brought along, returns are a giant hassle.

Where are they ever going to find a buyer for that who wouldn't be embarrassed to show up with it?

About the only thing I can think of is the pep band at UNC-CH. Too bad (for the seller) it's not a sousaphone.

No, but its price is too high for what is likely a very average, at best, tuba.
