not mine but,
Sousaphone was a martin mammoth 26 inch bell.The sousa was held to the chair by hose clamps. It sold for the asking price according to the seller.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever seen! Maybe this thread needs to be retitled 'Stupid Things To Do With Music Instruments'! Sort of like 'The Women of Walmart' videos.

It's sad to see such a great, vintage instrument saddled to such a disgustingly floral chair. What a waste. I hope the purchaser knows how great he horn could be. :shock:

Honestly, that is one of the stupidest things I've ever seen! I can't figure out what purpose is served by adding the sousa to the chair. It looks uncomfortable and awkward. And those sousas can be just fantastic. Oh well....
