That was sold a few months or so ago, or this is nearly exactly the same design.

It has been up for auction for sure, mentioned here in September. At the same price, and at that price I wouldn't assume the auction successfully ended in a sale.

At the time there was some question, as I understood it, about whether it was originally silver plated or not. So it might be interesting to know if the Spanish verbiage has changed to be clearer about that. It's similar, but don't remember exact wording. Without getting a translation, it looks like it might be a slightly garbled account, like the seller may not be the one who had this done.

looks like it was made to match a mariachi suit.

One of the pics shows a dent; you can tell that it is silver plated underneath.

Would be more convincing if the adjacent valve tubing looked silver, where the paint is also chipped off.
