What is a "scandal" post?

I guess I'm confused, because it seems like 90% of the offerings in this subforum qualify as scandals. Scam listings, complaints, sob stories abound.

I've always assumed it meant no using this forum as a substitute for the ebay feedback system, especially for negative feedback?

I've always assumed that it meant one shouldn't post stories like the one recently involving General David Petraeus and his biographer...
