I emailed the seller, he replied with his phone number and said to call for details. I googled the number, and it's a pawn shop/shooting range. That's all I needed to hear.

Neither one of the horns pictured so far in this thread have the 'classic' Marzan wrap. It appears that both have the main tuning slides on the bottom.

That is clearly a raw brass MW 2145. Tighter wrap, smaller bows & bell, different ferrules than the Marzan/Meinl posted in the other thread. Not the same tuba.

I don't know what it is, but I'll just second the curiosity. I noticed it pretty soon after it opened and wondered. The outer branches look like the valves should be rotors, but voila, they are pistons. It is an odd looking horn. Very curious about what it is.
