Cool looking axe on Craigslist

Not involved in any way with this instrument, it just kinda looks nice. Also, I think clockwork springs are cool. No way I can justify driving out there to play around with it. Cerveny?

That was my thought too, Cerveny. Too much travel time from here as well- hopefully someone from California can take a look.

I agree - looks like an old Cerveny. It was common for the German/Czech makers to not put any name on some of their old pre-war tubas. I have an old Kaiser BBb that has no name, but was likely made by B&F. The only markings on the horn are a faint, hand-etched number on the back of the 4th rotor casing.

Very reasonable price for that Craigslist Cerveny :!:

I spoke to the owner today and he is willing to sell me the horn. :tuba:
