I believe that it might have been converted to low pitch because the main tuning slide appears to have been lengthened.
Does the horn play a full range chromatic in tune (A440)?
Yes. For me, the horn is in tune (A 440) with the main tuning slide out a little less than one half inch. Then, like my other horns, it was up to me to figure out how to play it in tune. Your results may be different.
