I've owned two of these over the years and played a few more but I've never seen one with the tuning after the valves before. And I totally agree with Dan and Hal, they are beautiful sounding horns. In fact, I played one of them on the Guy Lombardo orchestra and Art Mooney, who was leading the group at the time told the booker that it was the nicest sounding tuba he'd ever heard. Ed
