Here's a 'tired' unrestored ophicleide on ebay--I have seen much worse...the big thing will be how's the condition of the metal--stable or 'britle' like a potato chip..if you buy it, save your pennies for restoration costs!....FYI...-mark

1125 for decoration only? That's an expensive bird bath centerpiece.

It's evident at a distance - this would be a bear to restore... could be worth it, and it looks superficially like a Guichard or Gautrot, but with everything frozen, you're looking at a LOT of corrosion cracker time and careful cleaning and patching.
