I search nearly every single for "tuba" on ebay & I NEVER saw this listing.
It was listed on Tues. 8/13 & ended Thurs. 8/15 (today) How is this?
I never heard of a 3 day listing! But it ended in only 2 days???

$5,000 for an 8 year old 1291 is a smokin deal now?

Well, I'd say yes! For an instrument that costs more than $10K new,
$5,000.00 seems like a pretty good deal to me. And does the age
really matter that much??? I think it has much more to do with the
current condition & wether or not it is a very well liked horn & a
Miraphone 1291 BBb 5-Valve IS just that type of horn

The reason the listing only ran for a short time is that it was a 'buy it now'. I'd like to see a post from either the seller or the buyer.

I would have been very skeptical of this listing since the seller has 'zero' transactions.

Hmm. I paid $5000.00 for mine in 2007 and thought it was a fairly good price at the time. I think their used price has gone up a bit since then.
