Bloke is probably right. I've never seen a school label its inventory with a bumper sticker. Plus, the seller is a pretty transparent brick-and-mortar business.

I've never heard of this model. Is it something special or really good? Is it worth pursuing? Just being rare doth not a player make. Could somebody rank it alongside other EEb models?

Thanks

It sold for 3 grand, with 22 bids, so it appears to be something many folks desire...

They're not THAT rare, all you do is buy the replacement fourth slide. It's self contained, the whole assembly is there. The paddle for the rotor ends up under the second valve slide. We had one at Disney when Yamaha was trying to become the official instrument of Walt Disney World and the valve didn't make is stuffy at all(to me anyway). I guess how they compare to other Eb's is in the mind and ear of the player.Ed
