what have I done?

Post by sousaphone68 »

I put what I thought was a low unlikely to win bid on this tuba

But I won and now I have to smuggle another tuba past the wife.
I think it will have to live in the band hall for a couple of months .

Simple solution: Send it to me, that should placate "She Who Must Be Obeyed".

Seriously it looks great, enjoy!

Ha! Good luck!

My wife and I made a deal when we first got married (because I was spending quite a bit on stuff on ebay) that whatever I spent on ebay (including shipping) she got the equivalent amount to spend on whatever she wanted. That put a stop to my spending pretty quick. Mostly because we really didn't have that much cash...selfish me...

The tuba has a few of issues noisy linkages all slides are stuck and there are a couple of broken stays and no mouthpiece.

Well I was busted last night by the Wife she took the addition of another distressed tuba to the collection calmly. I will no doubt pay the price at a later date when I least expect it.

I have been unable to find any markings on the tuba not even a serial number.
