The school at which I teach has one of these (albeit, much more beat up than the one listed) and it plays very well. I like it for beginners because it is very small size-wise, but does put out a good sound. Another band director nearby borrowed ours for a summer to take on the road with a big band group he plays with because he likes it so much (he taught here a number of years ago and was the one that purchased it I believe).
