Vintage Cleveland Sousaphone

I am a percussionist by trade but I managed to get my hands on a vintage Cleveland Sousaphone. That is all I can tell myself. There is a code on the valve that reads C44892. Im curious as to what year it is and other details on it. I was not able to find much online. It is for sale, but if anyone can give me some details on what I have it would be greatly appreciated.
