If Mark Jones owned this, he could take an outdoor photo and show us which is taller -- the tuba or the snow (I'm guessing the snow!).
This tuba is neat, weird, impractical, ugly, and damn cool.

Is it just an optical illusion or are these horns basically unwrapped 3/4 horns? To my eye (which has been deceived in the past) these horns are pretty small in every dimension except height.
Here's another picture of what they look like when they're all cleaned up.
