Does "large shank" mean "euro shank"?

Yes -- from the description on the Dillon mouthpiece chart that Matt Walters once sent me:
"The large size (L) is for large European mouthpiece receivers."

In fact, here's the whole description, which might be useful:

"The Dillon line of tuba mouthpiece offers superior performing mouthpieces at a reasonable price. Standard shank size is similar to a Bach tuba mouthpiece. The large size (L) is for large European mouthpiece receivers. For those wishing for a heavier mouthpiece that doesn’t look ugly, the Dillon mouthpieces can be ordered made of Bronze (B) instead of brass. Example: DILG5BL would be the G5 made of bronze and with a large shank."

Thanks,
Kent
