Seems to me exactly who is making what and who owns what names gets a little more blurry every day!
Anyone know the the 'poop' on this thing?

Re: Huh?
At some point Schreiber & Keilwerth acquired the York name. For a while they manufactured very high quality cornets (I had a York Eminence cornet) and other instruments under the York name at their factory in Germany (Besson cornets were also manufactured at that location). Schreiber & Keilwerth is now called W. Schreiber and is part of the Buffet Group. The Big Ben wrote:Does anyone actually own the York trademark?TubaTinker wrote:Seems to me exactly who is making what and who owns what names gets a little more blurry every day!
I would assume that Buffet owns the name but it appears to be unused at this time.
