I'm glad the seller put a question mark in the listing. The horn probably originated in China. 'Sanders' has been the house brand of Custom Music International for many years. I didn't say it was a bad horn... just probably NOT a B & S.

Were the Chinese using nickel silver paddles, those robust linkages, and that kind of fully round thumb-ring then?

Yes... those horns were being imported as early as the late 70's. Not saying they are bad horns. Just sayin'..
