Serial number 000051. Could this be the oldest Conn?

Not unless the engraving reads "Conn and DuPont '4 in 1' Cornet"... :P
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

I suppose so... Oops. I couldn't find one in the photos. I guess it isn't the oldest Conn. Buyer beware!

It does appear to have the dust of ages on it.

This is identical to my Conn Worcester Eb Tuba. Mine's in better shape. :) Conn Worcesters are 1887-1898.

Anyone wanna roll the dice on this one? Not me!

Maybe the seller can describe the engraving on the bell. If it says "Worchester" it's old.

Did yours start in more playable shape though Mark? The one listed looks pretty rough for $800... But I guess it does have four valves.

Relisted. Still too expensive for the shape it is in. I do have one in much nicer condition from 61000 serial range. It's quite a fine player. Would love to roll the dice on this one but not for 700 bucks plus shipping.
