I've played this horn, it's rock solid. Would be fun for somebody!
Ps. Not my horn.

Cool! At first I thought this might shed some light on the options for piston conversions for rotary valve configurations, like Cerveny's full loop Eb, that put the valves awkwardly close in. A piston set automatically gives the player a little more room. But the looping on this thing, with that hair-pin bend, is so unusual I don't think it relates much to a Cerveny or probably anything else. One of a kind. I like that the bell doesn't stick way out, like the Conn etc. helicons, so you aren't mowing people down and banging into things on your left so much.
Pretty modest price, by the way, considering the modern valve set etc.
