I'm not easily impressed, but that is a HUGE bow dent. :shock: Anyone know if the MTS off a 681 would fit?

Cerveny tubas don't hold their value very well at all. That said, if you really wanted this specific tuba, and could get it for $1,000 and put $2,500 of work into it, then you're still coming out on top from buying one new. (Yes, this is where the repairmen snicker and say that my repair cost suggestion is way off...)

you do you even get a dent that large? My first tuba has its bow run over a by a car, and I don't think it caused that much damage
I was wondering that myself. Drop it off the roof onto concrete? Possibly trying not to have to spend money on a tuba stand? :) There is a special place in hell for horn abusers. Listening to banjo and accordion recitals for eternity. :twisted:
