Can't tell for sure from the pics but this is probably a stenciled B&S 101. Probably was used by some I-don't-care-it's not-my-horn high school students

Is that horn honestly even worth it after the repairs that would need to be made?

I have one too, with the Sonora stencil, and agree they are fine tubas. Keep your eyes out to see if the seller lowers the price on this one.
