I bought one of these for my newly acquired B&S Symphonie F. Heavy bag because of thick leather, but EXTREMELY well made, and offers great protection. While I am not excited on the bag's weight ( of course ALL leather tuba bags are heavier than cordura, but offer better protection), you really can't go wrong on these RB leather tuba bags discounted 70% by Mouthpiece Express. Very very highly recommended!

Looks like all their RB leather tuba gig bags are sold. They still have the real nice deluxe MPTU RB leather tuba mthpce pouches on clearance sale for 70% off. These are quite well built (I own one), much thicker, firmer, and offer more protection than the basic leather RB tuba mthpce pouch. You could have a mthpce in one of these pouches and drop it on concrete, and the mthpce would have NO damage:

Just got my bag delivered today. It fits my besson 981 perfectly. Hate to say it but it offers more protection then my hard case. Really good investment.
