Pretty lame but a lot like many of the "Band Dad" repairs seen. Not a bad price if it goes for anywhere near it is with an hour to go.

This seller is pretty fair in his dealing. Offer him half (or less) than the listed price and 'do the dance'.

I'm sure he is fair - I've seem him sell quite a few things, and his feedback score is high.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I just don't follow the strategy of re-listing, at a higher price, something that didn't sell the first time....just curious.....

"Up market" - you never know who's out there, maybe someone who wants a better tuba. So you pitch it at a higher price, since that's your #1 cue to quality. That's my guess.

I've bought from him in the past. Good seller. I usually lowball and we meet in the middle somewhere. Never hurts to lowball, worse they can do is say no. :)
