Definitely for a raincatcher sousaphone.
If anyone in the upstate NY area is interested in something similar, I have two sousa cases like this, most likely from the '50's and one has old military band stuff on it... I think it was from the band down in NJ, but haven't done the research yet... I'd planned on making them either storage for some old King Jumbos I have from the same era, or just making them coffee tables, but that was before we moved to a smaller house... hehe... nowhere near enough space to use them in either capacity at this point... please email me or PM if you'd like to see pics or have questions... I mentioned my area because these guys are so heavy! well over a 100 pounds without the sousas, so shipping probably isn't all that practical. Thanks again!
