Bundy (Besson) Tuba on EBay

Interesting!

To me, it looks like a full sized Besson bell and body. Even has the ball on the lower bow. But the valves look like what are used for 2-20s in my limited experience.

If it is made for Selmer as the bell engraving says, would they have used an american shank? And i might be cautious of it being high pitch. Neither of these am i confident enough to tell anything about from pictures...

I like the $50 price tag that shows when you enlarge the 1st picture. :) Profit is the name of the game. I'm thinking antique shop wall hanger found by someone who knew what it could be worth. Too many ??? with this one.

So I took a chance and bought it. Has American shank. Full sized horn. Tunes to modern pitch. Ugly as sin but plays like a beast as is. I think it will clean up well. :D
