I'm not really up on my Besson models but I think its a 2-20 stencil in Bb. What do y'all think?

Interesting!
To me, it looks like a full sized Besson bell and body. Even has the ball on the lower bow. But the valves look like what are used for 2-20s in my limited experience.
If it is made for Selmer as the bell engraving says, would they have used an american shank? And i might be cautious of it being high pitch. Neither of these am i confident enough to tell anything about from pictures...
Good spot!

I like the $50 price tag that shows when you enlarge the 1st picture.

Profit is the name of the game. I'm thinking antique shop wall hanger found by someone who knew what it could be worth. Too many ??? with this one.

So I took a chance and bought it. Has American shank. Full sized horn. Tunes to modern pitch. Ugly as sin but plays like a beast as is. I think it will clean up well.
