Ha, the contrabass trombone review: "My Miraphone M157F Contrabass Trombone works really well for notes that are not too fast but not too long and that need to played at a comfortable barrel-house FFF dynamic range. Half notes are ideal. Quarter notes and anything faster require way too much facility. This particular model excels in music that requires an uncontrolled spread sound that lasts about 2 to 3 seconds. Melodies are out of the question. Overall, I'm very happy with my Miraphone M157F and would recommend it to anybody looking for an instrument that demands even less respect than a contra bassoon."

The words Wal Mart and Miraphone should not be uttered in the same sentence. :)

Is the WWBW black Friday sale any good? It's some % off, but I can't remember if it applies to stuff you'd actually want to buy... or just guitar crap.

That sale was amazing, got my alto trombone w/custom tuning slide and gold brass bell for under $400. I'd love to take a look at their Eb tubas or possibly a Dolce this year.
